Nielsen Report Shows Kids Love Android

It also shows that Android is #winning the mobile race.

Nielsen

The last time Nielsen did a smartphone survey, we learned the black people love BlackBerrys. This time around, the marketing research company has found a few more interesting tidbits about the mobile industry.

According the survey it conducted with 14,701 postpaid mobile subscribers, Nielsen discovered that between all the mobile phone platforms, buyers aged 18 to 24 prefer phones running Google's Android operating system. Usage seemed to be even through all the other age groups across all mobile platforms. The only standout was Symbian which seems to be used by nobody.

The study also found that slightly more people use the Android OS compared to BlackBerrys and iPhones. Although, to be fair, this study was conducted before the iPhone went to Verizon. We think this number may change a bit in the months to come.
