Lil Baby on 'My Turn,' His Career Plans, Young Thug & Gunna, Lil Wayne the GOAT | Everyday Struggle

On Tuesday’s (Mar. 10) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks are joined by Atlanta rapper, Lil Baby. The EDS crew and the ‘Sum 2 Prove’ rapper start off the conversation discussing the release of Baby’s latest album ‘My Turn.’ Soon after, Lil Baby reveals the reason why he started rapping, and opens up about the  goals he’d like to achieve in the next five years. Lil Baby then talks about the name comparisons to fellow rapper DaBaby, and gives credit for DaBaby for being one of the hottest rappers right now. Later in the show, Lil Baby speaks on his relationship with Gunna and Young Thug, his appreciation for the current state of female rap and his plans to expand his record label venture by signing a pop star. Soon after, Lil Baby talks about his influence on the industry, and gaining inspiration from other artists, rather than be in competition with them. To close out the show, Lil Baby speaks on how Lil Wayne in the G.O.A.T. of rap and how he uses Jay-Z’s career as a guide for future endeavors.
