CHAMPAIGN ILL hilariously explores the aftermath of a rapper’s crew once the glory days are over. The series follows the story of Alf and Ronnie, played by Sam Richardson and Adam Pally, after the death of their well-to-do best friend and rapper, Lou, played by Jay Pharoah. Fallen out of the limelight, the two crew members are forced to return to their hometown. Accustomed to the high life, they have no clue how to function as normal people anymore. In order to get back on top, the two friends have to figure out how to leave their destructive lifestyles behind.
