Kim Kardashian is sticking by her "genius" husband.
On Thursday night, Kanye West took aim at Drake in a lengthy—and messy—Twitter tirade. 'Ye accused the Toronto rapper of threatening his family, bullying people with mental health issues, and funding a near-fatal attack at a recent Pusha-T show. Hours after Kanye lobbed the allegations, his wife waded into the drama by tweeting her support for the father of her children.
"Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake," she tweeted. "My husband is the most brilliant person, the most genius person that I know. He has broken so many boundaries [...] and will continue to change the world."
Her defense of Kanye comes as no surprise; however, many people have wondered if the support was all for show. Does Kim truly agree with her husband's attack on Drake? Some sources say yes.
"Kim stands by Kanye and will never allow anyone to threaten her family," an insider told E! News. "She will stand up for Kanye and supports what he has to say. They aren't afraid of Drake and they aren't backing down. Kim feels very strongly and is glad that Kanye called him out [...] She has accepted that this is who he is and tries to appreciate the good."
But wait. Other sources claim Kim has become stressed over Kanye's behavior and is simply defending him out of obligation.
"Kim will always be supportive publicly of Kanye," another insider told People magazine. "She believes this is what she needs to do as his wife. They are a team and she will stick up for him.
"[She] can’t stand when he starts drama like this," he insider continued. "[...] It's very stressful for her because she doesn't know when it will stop and what he will do next."
This isn't the first time Kim has addressed Drake drama. Back in September, the 38-year-old reality star denied reports that she and Drizzy were once romantically involved. Several weeks later, Kanye called out Drake for remaining silent on the rumors.
"The fact that it's people making rumors or thinking that you f**ked my wife and you not saying nothing and carrying it like that, that don’t sit well with my spirit," 'Ye said in a video.
