Halle Berry's got jokes.

On Saturday, the Oscar-winning actress responded to a tweet that included a bizarre tidbit about her family tree. The post was part of a thread by Daily Blast Live, which pointed to different celebrities you probably didn't know were related. There was Sen. Bernie Sanders and Larry David; actress Kerry Washington and former Secretary of State Colin Powell; Dakota Fanning and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton; as well as Hillary Clinton and Madonna.

Berry was featured on the list, which connected her to former Alaska governor and one-time vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

"This pair shares roots that may seem like they're from different trees," the tweet read, "but @halleberry and former VP candidate @SarahPalinUSA are distant relatives -- though the actual connection is unclear."

Berry caught wind of the tweet a couple of days later; and though she didn't deny the relation, Berry made her feelings toward the conservative figure very clear.

She may be on the tree but she ‘AINT invited to the cookout.😂 https://t.co/aSqgYBZJNK
