Ahead of its release next month, MGM has released the second trailer for Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver.

Soundtracked by Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," the dramatic trailer offers another preview of the sprawling crime saga, which chronicles the events surrounding the real-life murder of Maurizio Gucci. Gaga stars as Patrizia Reggiani, who hired a hitman to murder her ex-husband Maurizio, portrayed here by Driver.

The impressive cast is rounded out by Jared Leto as Paolo Gucci, Jeremy Irons as Rodolfo Gucci, Salma Hayek as Giuseppina Auriemma, and Al Pacino as Aldo Gucci, the chairman of the fashion house until 1986. The new trailer shows just how much Leto has transformed his appearance for the role, and even teases the moment of assassination. “I don’t consider myself a particularly ethical person, but I am fair,” says Gaga as Reggiani near the end of the trailer. “I subscribe to unconventional punishment.”

Reggiani was tried and convicted in 1998, three years after the assassination took place. The late Gucci head’s second cousin, Patrizia Gucci, expressed her disappointment in the project earlier this year. "They are stealing the identity of a family to make a profit, to increase income of the Hollywood system," said Patrizia in April. "Our family has an identity, privacy. We can talk about everything, but there is a borderline that cannot be crossed."

The movie lands in theaters on November 24, with a streaming release expected to arrive on Paramount+ sometime after.
