To celebrate the arrival of May the 4th, a.k.a. Star Wars Day, Disney+ unleashed a new trailer for the Ewan McGregor-starring Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

The new clip offers up our most extensive look at the show yet, showing what became of Obi-Wan following the events of 2005’s Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. There’s even a brief shot of him watching over a young Luke Skywalker, teasing how the six-episode series will lead-up to his Jedi origin story in Episode IV: A New Hope

Upon being told to scram by young Skywalker’s uncle Owen, Kenobi says, “When the time comes, he must be trained.” Owen retorts, “Like you trained his father?”

To coincide with the trailer—which features a tiny bit of Kenobi’s infamous former padawan—Disney+ also shared a poster teasing his fateful reunion with Anakin in the form of Darth Vader.

Obi-Wan is McGregor’s first live-action appearance in the world of Star Wars since 2005’s Revenge of the Sith. It also reunites him with his prequel trilogy co-star Hayden Crhistensen, who played the ill-fated Anakin.

“It’s odd to come back to something after such a long period of time,” McGregor said of reuniting with Christensen in an interview earlier this year. “To see Hayden back in the role of Anakin, it was sort of spine-tingling. It was amazing, it was just amazing to see Hayden full-stop. I’m so close with him, we’ve stayed in touch over the years, but we haven’t seen each other for a long time.”

Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres May 27. Watch the trailer up top.
