It’s been a 🅿️retty good week for Gunna, who snagged another No. 1 album with his latest release, DS4EVER, and the Atlanta rapper has also successfully injected the blue “P” emoji into everyone’s vocabulary in the process.
We have an explainer on the rapper’s creative emoji use and what is and isn’t “P” here, and now Kim Kardashian has Gunna’s stamp of approval as well. The entertainer posted a shot of herself in a bikini with the caption, “Beach 🅿️arty,” which Gunna praised.
The rapper screenshotted the photo and posted it to his Instagram Stories to give Kim K her “Capital 🅿️!”
Gunna landed his second solo No. 1 album on the Billboard Hot 200 chart with DS4EVER this week, with the project earning 150,300 equivalent album units. This feat is even more impressive because the rapper beat out The Weeknd’s Dawn FM, which debuted at No. 2.
Gunna’s album includes features from 21 Savage, Chris Brown, Future, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, and Young Thug. The Drake collab “Power P” was added to the project after its initial release.
Among the electrifying tracks is a dig at Freddie Gibbs on “Poochie Gown,” someone Gunna has been in an ongoing feud with. In response to the current “pushin P” movement, Gibbs trolled Gunna and Young Thug by sharing an inflammatory spin on “P.”
“Only P you n***as is police, pussy, and pillow talkers,” reads a post that Gibbs reposted to his Instagram Stories. “And pathetic, peons. I’m pushing P.”
He also shared another post clowning Gunna, which probably wouldn’t be considered “P.”
