Owen Wilson has joined the cast of Loki, Marvel's highly anticipated Disney+ show starring Tom Hiddleston in the titular role.
Set for a debut on the streaming service in spring 2021, Loki will be executive produced by Marvel Cinematic Universe head Kevin Feige. As with most of Marvel's incoming Disney+ shows, details regarding the series remain scarce. Written by Rick and Morty producer and scribe Michael Waldron and helmed by Sex Education director Kate Herron, Loki is expected to play up the comedic elements of Hiddleston's character.
As Deadline reports, the series is expected to tie-in directly to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Hiddleston last portrayed the character in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, although his character died in the former and appeared in the latter through time travel trickery. It's unclear who Wilson will play in the show, although viewers have previously suggested he take on the role of Adam Warlock.
