Shaun Weiss, whose acting history most famously includes the role of Greg "Goldie" Goldberg in the Mighty Ducks franchise, was recently arrested on burglary and meth-related charges.

Weiss was taken into custody on Sunday at a home in the Marysville area of California, according to KCRA 3's report. Local police arrived at the scene at approximately 7 a.m. local time after the owner of the residence spotted "an intruder in his garage." That intruder, police said, turned out to be Weiss, who was seen by officers inside a vehicle in the garage after allegedly breaking the passenger-side window to gain entry.

"Weiss displayed symptoms of being under the influence of methamphetamine and said he did not reside at this residence," the Marysville Police Department said in a Facebook-shared press release. "Weiss also said the vehicle he was filtering through was not his."

The actor, whose other credits include Freaks and Geeks and Heavyweights, was ultimately booked at Yuba County Jail with a bail of $52,500 on charges of residential burglary and being under the influence of methamphetamine.

Back in 2018, it was reported that Weiss had entered a rehab program following a public intoxication arrest. In a since-removed Facebook post at the time, Weiss thanked fans for providing support during a difficult time.

"Everywhere I go, morning, noon, and night, folks whom I've never met before approach me with big smiles and hugs, invigorating encouragement, even food," he said at the time. "And not junk, the good stuff, grandma's stuffed peppa's . . . I hear stories about how much Heavyweights or the Ducks movies impacted their lives or helped them through hard times or just made them laugh over and over."
