Kristen Stewart has lived her life in the public eye for quite some time. While the spotlight of fame has afforded her a lot of luxuries, during an interview with Harper's Bazaar, UKStewart explains how Hollywood has tried to dictate her love life.

"You want to preserve your career and your success and your productivity, and there are people in the world who don't like you, and they don't like that you date girls, and they don't like that you don't identify as a quote-unquote 'lesbian,' but you also don't identify as a quote-unquote 'heterosexual.' And people like to know stuff, so what the fuck are you?'" Stewart told Sophie Elmhirst. The actress then went on to explain that this rejection of labels has almost cost her career opportunities.

"I have fully been told, 'If you just like do yourself a favor, and don't go out holding your girlfriend's hand in public, you might get a Marvel movie,'" Stewart said. "I don't want to work with people like that."

This isn't the first time Stewart has touched on her sexual fluidity. During a 2017 episode of Saturday Night Live, Stewart claimed: "I’m, like, so gay dude!" But during a recent conversation with the Associated Press, Stewart explained that she did this because of the pressure she was receiving to label her sexuality.

"I felt this huge responsibility, one that I was really genuinely worried about, if I wasn’t able to say one way or the other, then was I sort of like forsaking a side," she said before explaining how things have changed over the years.

"If you were to have this conversation with someone in high school, they’d probably roll their eyes and go, ‘Why are you complicating everything so much?’ ... Just sort of do what you want to do," she continued. "It’s really nice."
