Fast & Furious 9 has run into some issues.

According to Variety, all production has been stopped due to an injury that led to a stuntman being hospitalized with a "serious head injury." The incident took place on set in the United Kingdom at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, England.

"We had an injury on the set of FAST 9 today in Leavesden with one of our stuntmen," a spokesperson disclosed to Variety. "We have halted production for the day to focus on this situation."

Per the responding police, the accident took place around noon. The officials then contacted emergency medical responders who airlifted the victim to the nearest hospital.

"An ambulance, three ambulance officer vehicles and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Leavesden Studios shortly before midday today (July 22), following reports of a man injured in a fall," a statement from the authorities read. "One patient with a serious head injury was transported to the Royal London Hospital by air ambulance."

Fast & Furious staples, Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Michelle Rodriguez confirmed that production on Fast & Furious 9 began in Jan of this year.

This comes after there was major tension between Vin Diesel, Tyrese, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. As a result, The Rock will not appear in Fast & Furious 9, electing to star in his own spinoff movie Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and ShawBut John Cena has been added to Fast & Furious 9's cast.
