The trailer for Eric Andre's highly anticipated film Bad Trip has been released, and in addition to featuring the comedic talents of Tiffany Haddish and Lil Rel Howery, the film boasts a Jackass producer for all the slapstick humor enthusiasts who want to watch some people get pranked.
The hidden camera comedy is centered around two best friends, Andre and Howery, who embark on a cross-country road trip after they steal Andre's sister's car while she's locked up, played by Tiffany Haddish. Her character ultimately escapes from prison in front of a group of white onlookers. “I’ll kill every single one of you white motherfuckers,” she tells them.
The trailer shows all three characters engaging in fully ridiculous stunts before the real-life audiences who are brought into this fictionalized storyline. In one scene, Andre is posing as a mechanic when he tells the man who's asking for a repair to press a specific button on his high-powered vacuum. The machine then rips Andre's clothes off his back, completely exposing him. In another clip, Haddish is holding her fictional brother off a roof, telling bystanders, "What y'all looking at? Mind your goddamn business."
Kitao Sakurai (The Eric Andre Show) directed the upcoming film from the minds of Dan Curry, Kitao Sakurai, and Eric Andre. The script was written by Jackass and Bad Grandpa producer Jeff Tremaine, alongside Kathryn Borel and Jenna Park of American Dad.
