The Juul is the perfect actor's tool for moments of emotional vulnerability.

A nicotine enthusiast separated from their Juul is, quite emphatically, a full-blown tragedy.

That's arguably the main takeaway from a Dark Phoenix cast appearance on Tuesday night's Jimmy Kimmel Live, during which Jennifer Lawrence shared a gut-wrenching tale of Juul separation centered on Sophie Turner. The recollection was preceded by a question from the host that, despite his lead-in, might be considered a SPOILER to some fans.

Asked if it was "emotional" during production due to the fate of her character Raven, Lawrence praised Turner's acting during the pivotal moment in question.

"Her reaction to my death was so, like, raw . . . It was so, like, honest and real and it was because she really was crying because her dialect coach right before the take took her Juul away," Lawrence said, somehow while fighting back tears. "She started genuinely tearing up. It was like the performance of the year. It was amazing."

Turner echoed this assessment of Juul-assisted acting. "Yep, it's how to act," she said. "Take it away and then you give it back, and that's happy and sad."

Most tragically of all, it's unlikely theater chains will be cool with fans Juuling or otherwise tobaccoing it up with reckless abandon while watching the Jean Grey saga Dark Phoenix this weekend.
