Enjoyers of things that are good can rejoice, as the new trailer for It: Chapter Two has arrived in all its balloon-assisted glory.
The sequel, made possible thanks to the sheer scope of the classic Stephen King novel, has already been heavily praised by King himself. In a tweet teasing the trailer earlier this week, the horror mainstay confirmed he's seen the finished product and it is indeed "terrific."
For the new teaser trailer, which was cleverly preceded by some stalking balloons on social media, see above. The trailer unsettlingly opens with what feels like an entire scene, complete with this ominous but expected line of dread: "But you know what they say about Derry. No one who dies here every really dies."
Fittingly, the clown-adjacent happenings of the It universe were incidentally also preceded by the return of Cokie the Clown. If you know, you know.
It: Chapter Two hits theaters for more frights-based introspection Sept. 6. James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Jessica Chastain, Jay Ryan, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, and Andy Bean join the cast as older versions of the legendary Losers Club kids.
What will the real-life clown community think of this one?
