After multiple years in the spotlight, you have to know what you're getting with Snoop Dogg. Somehow, the ArcLight in Hollywood missed the memo. According to Page Six, the venue was miffed when they discovered that Snoop sparked up in the green room ahead of a screening of his new movie The Beach Bum.
"The main issue is that the talent smoked weed in the green room,” a message from a staffer obtained by the publication said. “The site has spent all day airing it out and I checked it about two hours ago and it smells a bit better, just a faint smell remains.”
The stoner-focused film stars Matthew McConaughey and Snoop, who recently shared how they puffed and passed during the actual filming of the movie. McConaughey revealed that he accidentally smoked with Snoop in a scene they shared together after a miscommunication lead to the actor inhaling smoke that wasn't meant for him.
"I show up that night. I know the scene, so I talk to the prop guy on set. I said, 'Look, I got my prop joints.' Which are oregano. I talk to Snoop. I say, 'These are my prop joints. Oregano.' So all of a sudden we do the scene and it’s about an eight-minute take, it’s a long take if you’re passing a joint back and forth and you’re smoking hardcore to the heels of your feet," McConaughey shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "So the scene goes on and right after the scene I just feel like, 'Man, I’m not sure that was a prop.' And Snoop goes, 'Yo, Moondog, that wasn’t prop weed, that was Snoop weed.' I said, 'Okay man! Buckle up because here we go.'"
