Recently it was announced that RZA and Iggy Pop had joined the latest film from cult director and writer Jim Jarmusch, adding to an already impressive cast headlined by Bill Murray, Adam DriverChloë Sevigny, and Tilda Swinton. Now the first trailer for the zombie comedy The Dead Don't Die has arrived. Murray, Sevigny, and Driver are cops tasked with ridding their local town of the undead.

The trailer teases the goofy tone of the film, which also features some perfect casting with Iggy Pop in the role he was born to play. Swinton, meanwhile, looks to be fully embracing the fun tone by adopting a ridiculous accent while wielding a katana. The movie will also have appearances from Steve Buscemi, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Sara Driver, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane, Austin Butler, Luka Sabbat, and Tom Waits. For those familiar with Jarmusch's previous work, this is pretty much a dream team of frequent collaborators and some interesting newcomers.

Jarmusch has had a very storied career, creating everything from contemplative dramas to deadpan comedy. The 66-year-old released his first full-length effort all the way back in 1980 with Permanent Vacation, while his most recent narrative-based feature arrived in 2016 with the quiet, Adam Driver-starring Paterson. He previously teamed up with many of the cast of The Dead Don't Die in his beloved anthology film Coffee and Cigarettes

The Dead Don't Die is set to hit theaters June 14 this year. Watch the trailer above.
