Avengers: Endgame marks the finale of a lengthy emotional rollercoaster that Marvel fans have ridden for more than a decade. This connection to the series as well as the movie's cinematic highs and lows was enough to leave one fan in shambles.

On April 27, it was reported that the dramatics of Avengers: Endgame reduced one Marvel lover to a hospital stint. It is said that 21-year-old Xiaoli of Ningbo, China was watching the movie at her local movie theater when she burst into uncontrollable tears. Xiaoli became inconsolable to the point where she had trouble gathering air, exhibiting symptoms of hyperventilation. Xiaoli was evacuated from the theater and taken to a nearby hospital where medics stabilized her with oxygen.

"I saw that the patient had been breathing heavily, and according to the description from her peers, we thought that her crying had caused hyperventilation," one of the facility's doctors explained. "We immediately gave her oxygen and relaxed her emotions by appeasement, reducing her hyperventilation symptoms."

While the Xiaoli's onslaught of tears may seem a bit extreme, she is one of the millions of Marvel fans who've had emotional reactions to Avengers: Endgame. The biggest example of this would be the anger evoked by the early moviegoers that think it's okay to ruin others experiences by dropping spoilers.

On Friday, the internet attacked NFL running back LeSean McCoy after he tweeted vital portions of the plot. Although McCoy was shielded by the screens of social media similar antics have ignited violence. A day after McCoy's antics a video began to go viral of a student punching his classmate in the face for spoiling Avengers: Endgame before he got the chance to see the highly anticipated movie.
