Critics React to the Premiere of Jordan Peele's Horror Film 'Us'

It should be impossible for the expectations around Jordan Peele's Us to get any higher. The follow-up to his beloved debut Get Out has been closely watched from its very first announcement and the unsettling, Luniz-scored trailers only stoked fans' anticipation. Now, the reviews are in from the film's premiere at SXSW and they can only stand to make Peele's followers even more hyped. 

Tweets from the premiere called Peele a modern Hitchcock and dubbed his latest film a masterpiece, building up the mountain of buzz with layers of praise. Take a look at some of the early takes below.
