Now that Pixar's revealed the first full-length trailer for Toy Story 4, fans are getting excited, especially about the return of the long lost toy Bo Peep.
In the film's new trailer, which arrived Tuesday, Woody goes on a mission to save his new human Bonnie’s favorite arts and crafts project, Forky. However, the two end up in a small town, where they run into Bo Peep (voiced by Annie Potts) whom we haven’t seen since 1999's Toy Story 2.
While Potts’ character was ultimately written out of the series’ third installation, she makes her return in Toy Story 4, where she shows Woody both the freedoms and risks that come from being a toy with no child companion. Bo Peep also leads a rescue mission for a stray toy that gets stuck in the rain, and it's safe to say she's gone through a bit of a glow-up. While she was previously outfitted in a dress and bonnet, in the fourth installation, she dons pants and a cape, her shepherd's crook still in hand. However, she once again finds herself in that same love triangle with Woody and Buzz Lightyear.
“Bo’s got some 'tude now,” Potts shared in a February episode of Good Morning America. The actress teased that Bo Peep makes a decision between Woody and Buzz in the movie, too.
Toy Story 4 is set to debut in theaters on June 21. Read some of the best reactions to Bo Peep’s comeback below.
