Vince Staples and DRAM have expanded their résumés with starring roles in Lazor Wulf—an upcoming animated series for Adult Swim.

As the title suggests, the show will follow a wolf with a laser on his back as well as his group of friends in the fictional town of Strongburg. Bento Box Entertainment is handling the animation. Adult Swim says the quarter-hour series "is about finding the inner strength to buy your own cereal, not dying, and the art of the scam."

Lazor Wulf was created by Henry Bonsu, who also serves as executive producer alongside Daniel Weidenfeld and Carl Jones (The Boondocks). In addition to Staples and DRAM, the series will star comedian Quinta Brunson, Judnick Mayard, Andre Pascoe, Reginald VelJohnson, J.D. Witherspoon, and WWE's Big E.

You can check out the show's first trailer above. Lazor Wulf will premiere with two episodes at midnight on April 7 on Adult Swim.

Staples will also star in the upcoming indie film Punk. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Staples will play the character of Peter, a young man who embarks on a road trip with a group of "free spirits," only to find out that they're actually a band of bank robbers. Punk was directed by Richard Hughes. A release date has yet to be announced.
