Cardi B has weighed in on Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal.
The rapper took to Instagram Live on Wednesday to question why “women don’t have more compassion towards each other?”
“I’m seeing this whole Khloé Kardashian thing and it’s just like everybody’s celebrating that that happened to her—and it’s like why?” Cardi said around the one-minute mark. “I mean, I know the Kardashians have done fucked up shit before and everything… I think the karma got to them.”
Cardi continued, “The last situation happened to shorty, before the day she gave birth, like I feel like whatever karma I feel like they deserve, I think they already have it. So it’s like why do you guys keep wishing that on a woman? Especially a woman that has a daughter—why do we wish that on each other? We know how it is when a n***a fuck up. Y’all know that your heart shatters in pieces—y’all know it’s like your heart is literally bleeding and you just want to die. You can’t even sleep. You actually can’t even escape it when you sleeping because you actually dream about it.”
She spoke on the topic for a few minutes, ending with, “Instead of laughing at their pain, just uplift them.”
It's clear that Cardi understands what Khloé's going through, particularly since the rapper went through a fairly public split with her husband Offset late last year. Now, however, it looks like the two have since reconciled, when earlier this month, Cardi was seen wearing her engagement ring for the first time in months.
Khloé's scandal, however, is much more recent. On Tuesday, it was reported that the Kardashian had ended her relationship with Thompson after he was seen at a house party making out with Jordyn Woods, the 21-year-old who is best friends with Kylie Jenner. No one from the Kardashian-Jenner clan has come out to confirm the rumors, but fans have taken note of social media activity that suggests the cheating allegations are true. Kim Kardashian has since unfollowed Woods and Thompson on Instagram, and family friend Malika Haqq seemingly confirmed the reports in a since-deleted comment, writing, "These hoes ain't loyal," in response to a meme about the alleged hook-up.
This isn't the first scandal Khloé and Thompson have faced. Last spring, the NBA star was caught on camera cheating on a then-pregnant Khloé with multiple women. The two welcomed their first child together around the time the videos surfaced and ultimately decided to work things out.
