The second trailer for High Life is here, giving us a closer look at this eerily sexy sci-fi film by French director Claire Denis.

High Life follows the story of a group of criminals taken into deep-space under the promise of being freed for participation. As they make their way to a massive black hole, the passengers begin to realize scientists onboard are actually using them for sexual experiments.

In the trailer we see Robert Pattinson growing attached to his daughter, who he previously had against his will via artificial insemination. We're also cycled through some terrifying scenes of Juliette Binoche, who plays one of the scientists, performing disturbing experiments on her subjects.“We’re scum. Trash. Refuse that didn’t fit into the system. Until someone had the bright idea of recycling us to serve science,” Pattinson says in the trailer above.

The movie also stars the legendary André 3000 as one of the celestial convicts, who has his own doubts about their so-called mission to harvest energy from a black hole. "This mission can't turn our shame into some type of glory," the Atlanta rapper says. "I can't do this flying around no more."

High Life debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and made its rounds during fall film fest season. So far, the thrilling interstellar adventure has received positive reviews, with an 85 percent "fresh" score on Rotten Tomatoes. It's being release via indie hitmakers A24 (Moonlight, Lady Bird, Ex Machina).
