Bill Hader's dark comedy/drama series Barry arrived with a bang last year when it premiered, receiving overwhelming praise and winning two Emmy Awards. HBO announced a while back that a second season was on the way, and now we've officially got our first look at the next chapter of Hader's hitman-turned-actor Barry Berkman.

The teaser doesn't give away too much in terms of the plot, but it does confirm that Henry Winkler's Gene, Anthony Carrigan's NoHo Hank, and Sarah Goldberg's Sally will all be returning. It does not, however, reveal whether Paula Newsome's Detective Moss will be appearing.

Season 2 of Barry will see Hiro Murai return to the project to direct an undisclosed number of episodes. Previously, he directed two of the first season's eight episodes. Bill Hader has gone on record to say that the "Teddy Perkins" episode of Atlanta was "one of the best hings I'd ever seen in my life."

I’m not sure if I’m more excited for the return of Noho Hank, the evolving complexity of Barry’s moral compromises, or the sage advice of Gene Cousineau that somehow transcends the stage and lands directly in my heart.#Barry Season 2 premieres this Spring. pic.twitter.com/M6E3MVScxu

There's still no concrete date for Barry's second season just yet, but HBO has indicated that it'll premiere sometime this spring.
