This morning we got our first look at a post-*snap* Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame everyone looks, to put it simply, sad af. Who wouldn’t be if half the universe disappeared like that?
With many of Earth’s mightiest heroes—and Captain America’s beard—gone, fans are soaking in their feels after watching the first trailer. Tony Stark is attempting intergalactic suicide, Thor is mute, Shuri is apparently missing, and all hope seems lost.
It's not only the content of the trailer that has fans feeling emo. This marks the end of a decade-long chapter in the MCU, starting with Iron Man in 2008. It took us 20+ movies to reach this point in the Avengers saga, but as the teaser says, "part of the journey is the end."
