Rob Thomas—the man behind Veronica Mars, not the Matchbox 20 guy—goes full comedy on this half-hour shot of brilliance about a party catering company staffed by wannabe actors. With a respectable ensemble of slept-on actors (including Ken Marino, Lizzy Caplan, and Adam Scott) and consistently witty writing, this one has officially put the Starz Network on the original programming map.

The homie Fred Savage (a.k.a. Kevin Arnold from The Wonder Years) directed several episodes of this (as well as of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia).
