The moneymaking entity colloquially known as nostalgia has announced its next method of capturing souls. Nickelodeon, the brand behind the indisputable classic Angry Beavers, has announced the arrival of a new VRV streaming channel titled NickSplat.

"NickSplat is an incredible brand with content that’s been delighting fans for more than 30 years and we are thrilled to be partnering with the Nickelodeon team to broaden the VRV universe," Arlen Marmel, VRV general manager, toldVariety Tuesday. The streaming channel will exist alongside Shudder, Nerdist, Dramafever, and more for $9.99 per month on AT&T's VRV subscription service. The non-bundle price is a mere $5.99 per month.

Among the confirmed Nick classics on the roster are All That, Are You Afraid of the Dark, CatDog, Clarissa Explains It All, Doug, Kenan & Kel, Rocko's Modern Life, and the aforementioned Angry Beavers.

In recent years, the Nickelodeon team has been making considerable efforts toward getting a hold of a certain demographic by way of making their childhood favorites more easily accessible. Last month, for example, a live-action Rugrats film was announced. Earlier this year, a 40-episode order of Double Dare and a possible Clarissa Explains It All return were also reported on with noticeably uncurbed amounts of enthusiasm.
