Watch Emilia Clarke’s Botched Chewbacca Imitation

Emilia Clarke tries her best to speak Wookiee. It doesn't work out well.

Emilia Clarke may be able to flawlessly communicate with dragons for her Game of Thrones character, Daenerys Targaryen, but her Wookiee still needs a little work.

Clarke, who portrays Qi'ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story, tried her best to imitate the famed Wookiee  Chewbacca but epically failed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. As Fallon reads Chewie's lines (yes, he has actual lines in English on the script), Clarke attempts to translate them into Wookiee around the 1:25 mark. It's not good.

As for the other major franchise Clarke is in, she claims to know some things about the show's final season, which she's filming this year.

"I know everything. Well, kind of...sort of. I do. I know plenty. I know enough," she said before relenting with "I can't say anything."

Although if she did say anything, it might not even happen in the series, since Clarke thinks the showrunners might be throwing the actors off of the actual storyline, too.

"Yeah, I think they're like fooling us," she said. "I think that they are doing loads of stuff and they're not even telling us because they don't trust us and rightly so."

Fallon also got the chance to ask Clarke if she prefers riding the Millennium Falcon or a dragon. And it seems like she's leaning toward the Falcon."There's more people around so it's a big more of a social occasion," she said. It's a different experience for the dragon, where she's propelled in the air to sit on top of a green screen contraption by herself. "It's lonely, everyone's down there having a great time, cracking jokes," she said. "And there I am." She might be lonely up at the top but at least she looks badass.
