Unlike most of his family members, Rob Kardashian has shied away from the public eye in recent years. The 31-year-old father rarely makes TV appearances or posts photos of himself on social media, presumably because of his ongoing struggles with weight; however, that all changed this week when Rob shared a 2016 Getty photo in which he was donning a fuller face. The Instagram post was captioned: “I don’t look like this anymore […] #thetransformationiscoming #staytuned #nosurgery #putinwork.”

It sounds like Rob has made some pretty big lifestyle changes, and it shouldn’t be long before we see the results of his hard work.

Rob’s health and body image issues have been well documented over the years. In 2014, he responded to the fat-shaming comments on social media, stating: “So i found out i was trending for being fat... thank you all it really made my day :)” and “I'm a grown man and will work on myself when i choose.”

Rob’s alleged body transformation was announced on the same day his brother-in-law Kanye West revealed he underwent liposuction to avoid the criticism Rob has endured. Ye also claimed the procedure resulted in an opioid addiction.

“I had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y’all,” the rapper revealed on TMZ Live. “I got liposuction because I didn’t want y’all to call me fat, like y’all called Rob [Kardashian] at the wedding, and made him fly home before me and Kim got married. I didn’t want y’all to call me fat, so I got liposuction, and they gave me opioids.”

According to his hashtags, Rob has taken a less extreme approach to his weight-loss journey—a decision that may have been influenced by Ye’s unfortunate experience.
