One can hope.

Actor Mark Hamill.

Mark Hamill may have just landed himself a role in Guardians of the Galaxy, and the whole thing (again, may have) been spurred by a fan's tweet. More on that in like two seconds.

But first, here's an Instagram post that was put up by Guardians' writer and director James Gunn, who captioned the meet-up by saying "Finally stopped by my neighbor @hamillhimself’s for that cup of coffee we talked about on twitter months ago."

Now, for those of you who don't remember random 3+ month old social media conversations, the IG post was a reference to this back-and-forth the two had from February:

I would be happy to do so, both as a good neighbor & an unemployed actor.
All the best, mh

It's kind of hard to tell whether the meeting was business-related or not, but the fact that Gunn alluded to their previous convo makes one wonder (I mean, right?) Anyway it might take a while to figure out. Gunn is set to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will probably be filmed next year, and then will be released in 2020.

Until then, we gotta settle for vague clues.
