Kim Kardashian West is reportedly following in the footsteps of Robyn Fenty (a.k.a. Rihanna), with plans to start her own lingerie line. According to TMZ, Kim’s collaborators have filed a trademark for something called “Kimono Intimates,” a brand that covers (literally) everything from bustiers, nightgowns and breast shapers to pasties, leotards and socks—among other things.

The name of the project clearly draws from Kim’s fascination with Japanese culture. The social media guru and business mogul took a trip to Japan back in February, where she dyed her hair pink and downed plenty of bowls of ramen. The name itself is a little tongue and cheek, playing off Kim’s name and the traditional Japanese garment. It's also slightly offensive/appropriative tbqh, but no need to get worked up over the rumored project just yet.

Whether this lingerie line sees the light of day or not remains to be seen, but it does show that the recent controversy surrounding her husband Kanye has not slowed Kim's continued hustle. The rumored foray back into fashion comes just a couple weeks after it was announced that the Kardashians are closing the remainder of their Dash stores.

"After nearly 12 years, my sisters and I have decided to close the doors of our Dash stores," Kim told fans on her app while announcing the closing of Dash. "We’ve loved running Dash, but in the last few years we’ve all grown so much individually. We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on."
