In honor of Scott Disick’s 35th birthday on Saturday, Khloé Kardashian threw it all the way back to 2009 on her Instagram stories when she reminded Scott of the time she slapped him on television. She shared a snapshot of the moment, memorialized in a 2009 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, as a cheeky reminder that the two were not always as good of friends as they are now.

The infamous incident, recounted by People, happened during an episode when Khloé was mad at Scott for getting her sister Kourtney pregnant with the couple’s now 8-year-old son, Mason. The couple had split but got back together when she found out she was pregnant, and Khloé accused Scott of purposefully impregnating Kourtney to preserve their relationship.

“Just admit it! You were jealous of Kourtney. You thought she was going to leave you, so that’s why you knocked her up with the old sausage,” Khloé screamed at Scott during the episode. “You wanted to just keep her for 18 years and not let anyone else have her.”

“18 years? I want her for eternity,” Scott responded, at which point Khloé slapped him in the face. Khloé’s outburst shocked Kourtney, who then said it was “disrespectful to slap Scott across the face,” and that the slap had “totally [crossed] the line.”

Kourtney and Scott have since broken up for good, but they have a total of three children together: Mason, 8, Penelope, 5, and Reign, 3. Scott is now dating Lionel Richie’s daughter, Sofia Richie
