Watch Josh Brolin Try Thanos' Voice With Different Accents on 'The Tonight Show'

Josh Brolin makes Thanos a New Yorker.

Josh Brolin is having a moment. With Deadpool 2 about to be unleashed in theaters, the 50-year-old actor is poised to have two of the biggest films of the year out at the same time. The other, of course, is Avengers: Infinity Warin which he plays the movie's big bad, Thanos.

So even though Brolin dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about his DP2 character Cable, Fallon couldn't help but bring up his already iconic performance as the marquee Avengers foe.

At one point, the pair imagined what Thanos might sound like if he hailed from Brooklyn. Using Thanos' signature quote: "Dread it, run from it... Destiny arrives all the same. And now, it's here. Or should I say... I am" as a reference, Brolin and Fallon re-imagined Thanos with different accents. Watch the insanity begin around the three-minute mark in the video below.

Brolin kicks off the spoof with a high-pitched take on the villain, before Fallon chimes in with a valley girl version. "OMG, Destiny will arrive," he says. The two then transition into Southern takes, and finish off as spot-on, old school Brooklynites.

"Destiny's right here don't even worry about it," says Brolin. "Whoa, Destiny's right here look at her, you can see her!"

When the two weren't attempting to make Thanos more likable, they talked about Brolin's insane schedule, which involved him getting mistaken for being in Josh Groban's entourage. Whoever made that mistake has since been turned to ash.

As if you need another reminder, Deadpool 2 arrives in theaters on May 18.
