Avengers: Infinity War shook viewers with the surprise ending which...

...saw many heroes disintegrate after Thanos snapped his fingers with the all-powerful Infinity Gauntlet. But in a seemingly hopeless situation, comic book fans are looking toward May 2019's Avengers 4 for a win. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo have been pretty mum on what the next film will be about and have yet to reveal its title. Now, thanks to License Global magazine—which revealed the Infinity War synopsis a year before the film—we're reportedly seeing the first synopsis about the next Avengers film.

It reads: "A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it."

It's still pretty vague but tweeters are reading into the phrasing to confirm theories of time travel or alternate realities being involved, thanks to that mention of this reality's fragility. Set images also confirm these ideas, as one showed Tony Stark sporting a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent uniform with Loki is in the costume from 2012's The Avengers. Others show Captain America in his original costume with a watch device in his hand, hinting at time travel. As for alternate realities, others speculate the heroes will head into the Quantum Realm—since it's likely to appear in Marvel's next film, Ant-Man and the Wasp, or Black Panther's Ancestral Plane, since it connects the dead and undead.
