Dave Chappelle and Jon Stewart Are Hitting the Road Together

Sadly, the run only includes seven dates.

Dave Chappelle is bringing his musicality-influenced stand-up to Boston, Houston, and El Paso next month for a run of shows with former Daily Show host Jon Stewart.

The seven-stop run begins June 11 with three nights in a row at Boston's Wang Theatre, then wraps with a two-night stint at the Chavez in El Paso. To ensure tickets are purchased by actual fans and not greedy bots, tickets for all shows will be sold exclusively through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan program. To register, click here. Tix will be available May 18 at 10 a.m. local time.

Here are the dates:

  • June 11 – Boston, MA – Wang Theatre
  • June 12 – Boston, MA – Wang Theatre
  • June 13 – Boston, MA – Wang Theatre
  • June 21 – Houston, TX – Smart Financial Centre
  • June 22 – Houston, TX – Smart Financial Centre
  • June 23 – El Paso, TX – Chavez Theatre
  • June 24 – El Paso, TX – Chavez Theatre

Chappelle, who's dropped multiple new specials on Netflix over the past year, recently made headlines for the words of support he offered for Michelle Wolf following idiots' criticism of her White House Correspondents' Dinner jokes. "I don't know who those people think they are that she can't say that to them because they offend people all the time," he toldPBS NewsHour at the top of the month. "For many people, it's cathartic to watch that woman speak truth to power like that."

While Chappelle has been quite active since inking a massive Netflix deal, Stewart has kept a noticeably lower profile since exiting the Daily Show. An animated series, part of Stewart's post–Daily Show overall deal with HBO, was delayed multiple times before ultimately being called off entirely.

In addition to his run of dates with Chappelle this summer, Stewart will also join the Lonely Island, Desus Nice and the Kid Mero, Tiffany Haddish, Third Eye Blind, Action Bronson, and more at Clusterfest in San Francisco June 1-3.
