On Mother's Day, multiple successful celebs used social media to show thanks and celebrate all the mom figures in their lives—from baby mamas to aunties to their own mothers. Rihanna, the Hadid sisters, and a few Kardashians were some of the many who expressed their love and gratitude for their supermoms on Twitter and Instagram on their special day. At least two dropped brand new tracks to celebrate their moms.

André 3000 paid homage to his mother by releasing two new songs, "Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)" and "Look Ma No Hands," on Soundcloud. "Look Ma No Hands" is a 17-minute, jazz instrumental track that features James Blake cameo on the piano and André on the bass clarinet. André's mother Sharon Benjamin Hodo, passed away in May 2013. He shared screenshots of their last text conversation together when he dropped the tracks.

A couple of days before Mother's Day, Fat Joe dropped a new song called "Momma," featuring Cool & Dre and Big Sean. In the track, the rappers take the listener through their childhoods and express their love for their mothers. The hook of the song is Dre rapping, "My momma, she the shit/Reason why I'm so legit."
