Either Westworld's upcoming second season is going to be almost entirely centered on a piano-obsessed canineor the series' creators have managed to pull off a fairly impressive trolling of their fans.

As previously reported, creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy hit Reddit this week to outline their purported plan to completely spoil the new season ahead of its premiere in an effort to combat the "larger problem" of how fan theories are reported.

"We thought about this long and hard, and came to a difficult (and potentially highly controversial) decision," they said in a Reddit post. "If you guys agree, we're going to post a video that lays out the plot (and twists and turns) of Season 2. Everything. The whole sordid thing. Up front. That way the members of the community here who want the season spoiled for them can watch ahead, and then protect the rest of the community, and help to distinguish between what's 'theory' and what's spoiler."

Well, the video in question has arrived boasting a fitting narrative surprise that's certain to either enrage or engage fans in an unprecedented way. What I'm saying is: There's a clearly brilliant dog involved, with no actual spoilers to be found. This dog, to be exact:

We should expect more of this sort of trickery in the days leading up to Westworld's season 2 premiere. In a quick statement to Vanity Fair after that 25-minute dog visual dropped, an HBO rep confirmed as much. "This is an initiative from the Westworld showrunners," the rep said. "We suggest you stay tuned to Reddit for their next move."
