Tracy Morgan to Join Taraji P. Henson for 2019's 'What Men Want'

Tracy Morgan also has 'The Last O.G.' premiering very soon.

Paramount Players has hired Tracy Morgan to join Taraji P. Henson in the cast for the 2019 film What Men Wantaccording to Variety. Variety adds that Aldis Hodge (appeared with Henson in 2016's Hidden Figures) will join the cast as well. The film will add to Morgan's current growing workload, as it comes in addition to his much-hyped TBS comedy The Last O.G., which is slated to premiere on Tuesday.

Previously it was announced that What Men Want (which is a spiritual successor to the 2000 Mel Gibson/Helen Hunt mind-reading romantic comedy What Women Want) will be directed by Adam Shankman.

As you may have guessed from the small tweak to the title, the newest version of the concept will see the roles from the previous version reversed. In the original, Mel Gibson got the ability to read women's minds after he fell in his bathtub with his hairdryer (don't try that). The new version will see Henson play a sports agent who acquires the abilities to read men's minds, which gives her the edge on signing "the NBA's next superstar."

The movie is already scheduled to hit theaters on Jan. 11, 2019.
