The Ocean's 8 trailer is finally here!
The film, which is a spinoff of the Ocean's 11 franchise, stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter. It turns out opportunism runs in the Ocean family's blood. Bullock, who plays Debbie Ocean, sister to George Clooney's Danny, has been scheming for "five years, eight months, and 12 days" on how to pull off her next heist. And she's got just the plan.
Together, the all-women team attempts to infiltrate and rob the Met Gala as RiRi's character, Nine Ball, uses her skills to hack the system. In the end, each woman will walk away with $16.5 million dollars.
Naturally, the trailer is set to Linda Ronstadt's "You're No Good" as the women are up to...well, no good. "Having this much fun is a crime," reads the trailer's description.
Ocean's 11 first hit theaters in 1960 starring the Rat Pack crew: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Peter Lawford, Joey Bishop, and Angie Dickinson. It was later remade into the 2001 classic (with the same name) starring Clooney, Matt Damon, Andy García, Brad Pitt, Bernie Mac, Don Cheadle, and Julia Roberts.
Ocean's 8 is slated to hit theaters on June 8. As Nine Ball says: "Game on."
