Lil Yachty graced the latest episode of Complex's new original series Open Late, hosted by Peter Rosenberg, where he talked about his fandom of Donald Glover and Because the Internet.
"The first time I heard that was in high school, no, this is the one with '3005' on it . . . I met him at Met Gala first," he said when asked about his creative relationship, at around the 28-minute mark in the video up top. Yachty added that he considers Glover to be "so dope" and "so funny." Following the impromptu Met Gala meeting, Yachty had the chance to hang out in the studio with Childish Gambino and Chance the Rapper.
Elsewhere, Yachty talked pre-Trumpian Kanye classics, including but certainly not limited to 808s & Heartbreak. After praising My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yachty clarified that 808s was his all-time favorite. Excellent choice.
