Black Panther standout Letitia Wright will reprise her role as Shuri in this month's Avengers: Infinity War. Naturally, this means we're getting more freestyle action from the Black Mirror alum.
Wednesday night, Wright joined Jimmy Fallon and the Roots on the Tonight Show for a round of Wheel of Freestyle. For those not in the know, the game sees each contestant—in this case, Wright and Black Thought—work three randomly selected words into some palatable bars. Wright's first challenge was to spin "disco," "Red Lobster," and "vibranium" into a freestyle. She basically nailed it. After Black Thought effortlessly crafted a Snuffleupagus line, Wright was then challenged to deliver even more bars using "hammer," "burrito," and Benedict Cumberbatch. Catch the full showdown up top.
During the interview portion of her Tonight Show appearance, Wright—who previously showed off her freestyle skills on the set of Black Panther—elaborated on her given nickname MC Baby Underbite. "Hey, Jimmy, man," she said. "It was just for fun. Now it's gone all over the world. Even Diddy be tweeting about it, so I'm just like what the heck. It just started off as fun. It's something I've been doing all my life, just having fun. I'm no Black Thought. I'm not on that level." The MC Baby Underbite name, she added, came from her co-star Danai Gurira.
Catch Wright in Avengers: Infinity War, opening next Friday.
