Television hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity have been feuding over the past few days after the former offended the latter over a monologue joke about Melania Trump. Kimmel is now trying to call a truce (with possibly some shade).

Kimmel’s apology, which you can read in full below, finds him noting “the vitriol from all sides (mine and me included) does nothing good for anyone and, in fact, is harmful to our country.”

The two have been trading overt and subliminal jabs on Twitter and their respective shows. Kimmel appears to have snuck in a parting shot by referring to Hannity’s “newly-found” advocacy for women: That comment could be a passing reference to Hannity asking viewers to not rush to judgment on former Senate candidate Roy Moore or his support of Donald Trump even after those infamous "grab 'em by the pussy" comments.

Just had this pop up. I am at a tournament with my daughter. I’ll have a full and comprehensive response tomorrow on Hannity. 9 EST FOX. pic.twitter.com/JLdZDa07BI

Based on his above response tweet, Hannity is planning to weigh in on the matter during his show this Monday at 9 p.m.
