Jason Voorhees terrorized people onscreen for over 30 years and now the hockey mask–wearing killer is frightening them in real life too.

Minnesota scuba divers are in for a spooky treat as an artist, Curtis Lahr, placed a real-life replica of Jason with his infamous hockey mask and machete at the bottom of a "popular" diving spot. The scary statue sits 120 feet below ground in Crosby, Minnesota.

While the statue was placed there in 2013, it's held up for four years, and somehow looks creepier as it deteriorates in the water. Although Lahr named his video "Jason Voorhees found at Camp Crystal Lake, he wasn't trying to fool anyone into thinking that this is a "real" Jason since, you know, Jason isn't real.

"Jason is a fictional character, there is no such thing as a 'real' Jason.  This is simply a statue of the character," he wrote in his YouTube caption. "To comment this video is 'fake' implies you believe he is a real person.  Like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, he doesn't exist."

In Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, an adult Tommy Jarvis "kills" Jason by chaining him down into Crystal Lake, where the villain originally died as a child. Although Jason came back for six more films, we can't help but to compare the two.

I mean, we know its fake (right?), but we also won't be down there on any Friday the 13th. If you're brave enough, check out the video above of the creepy statue.
