The Beyhive has been buzzing all week as they're investigating the biggest scandal of the 21st century: #WhoBitBey. Beyoncé, in the meantime, remains as unbothered as ever.

According to a source who talked with Us Weekly, Queen Bey is flattered by the support, but doesn’t want the person responsible to face the internet’s wrath.

“She thinks it’s sweet people are so concerned, but also doesn’t want to make life hard for the person that did it,” the source said. “Beyoncé’s team is being contacted by almost everyone they’ve ever met! They are getting texts and calls asking, ‘Were you there? What did you see? Have you heard anything?’ It’s pretty insane for anyone that works with Beyoncé.”

Is it insane to want to know who in their right mind would put their chompers on Bey’s face? I think not, but I can imagine that the singer is much more concerned about preparing for her and Jay Z’s forthcoming On the Run II Tour than this old news.

So far the top suspects remain Lena Dunham and Sanaa Lathan, who have both denied that they are the biter in question. TMZ reported, however, that sources close to Tiffany Haddish say Lathan did it.

Haddish is the one who turned everyone into a detective after she spilled the tea that an unnamed, crazed actress bit Beyoncé. "There was this actress there that's just, like, doing the mostest," Haddish told GQ. "She bit Beyoncé in the face...So Beyoncé stormed away, went up to Jay Z, and was like, 'Jay! Come here! This bitch!'— and snatched him."

Haddish offered to beat the actress up, but Bey graciously declined. The singer doesn’t seem to want the culprit to endure any beatings or bad press, which is thoughtful, but the Beyhive isn’t likely to let up until we have answers. Just tell us already, @chrissyteigen.
