On Sunday, Twitter again became a place where magical, nerdy dreams come true. First a fan tweeted at James Gunn asking the writer/director to find a role for Star Wars royalty Mark Hamill in Guardians of Galaxy Vol. 3.
Gunn didn't skip a beat, quickly expressing interest in meeting up with Hamill to discuss a role. Conveniently, the two are Malibu neighbors.
Hamill soon agreed to the meeting and, boom, we could be looking at an iconic casting crossover—that is, if Hamill figured out how DMs work.
