If you're anywhere online today, you're bound to see plenty of celebrity love stories whether you celebrate Valentine's Day or not, and Khloe Kardashian is no exception. In a new post from her official website, the reality star shared the story of how she figured out that boyfriend Tristan Thompson was "the one" pretty fast, according to Bustle.
In the post, Khloe says she was set up with Thompson, a power forward with the Cleveland Cavaliers, on a blind date through mutual friends in early 2016, and they basically haven't left each other's side since. Khloe made the relationship 'gram official that October, and she says they fell in love by being open and honest with each other from the very beginning of the relationship.
"It's really easy to fall in love with someone during a honeymoon phase when you haven't yet discussed the logistics of life," the KUWTK star wrote. "But you have to talk about the real things if you want a real/long-lasting relationship."
With a baby on the way for the pair, most other details about their romance are fairly private despite the pretty public life they both lead, but she says that their openness with each other helped her figure out that Thompson would be there for the long haul and built a strong foundation slowly and steadily. "I knew Tristan was the one very quickly," she wrote. "I have never felt so comfortable or so safe with someone."
