Alden Ehrenreich stars as the coolest smuggler in film history, also known as Han Solo, in the upcoming film, Solo: A Star Wars Story. But he couldn't do so without talking to the original Solo himself, Harrison Ford. And in a true Solo fashion, Ford's advice turned out to be a perfect blend of clever and wry.

"He said a great thing when I met him. 'Tell them I told you everything you needed to know, and that you can’t tell anyone,'" Ehrenreich recalled in an interview with EW. (And he really won't tell, either.) But Ehrenreich did confess why he spoke with Ford.

"I wanted to meet him because I just felt generally it wouldn’t be right to do the movie without some kind of contact with him, and I’m really glad I did," he said. "He was very, very supportive. And it’s just cool to have lunch with Harrison Ford." No disagreements on that here.

In the interview, Ehrenreich also revealed that Solo and Lando Calrissian will meet for the first time in the film. But they likely won't like each other that much at first. "Their relationship is many different things," he explains. "As it is when you see them in the originals." Ehrenreich added that they have "different styles" but they "maybe aren’t too dissimilar in their personalities" either.

Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out in theaters during Memorial Day weekend on May 25.
