In his first standup routine in 10 years, Chris Rock talked about the ups and downs of love, making Valentine's Day a fitting release date for his special, Tambourine.

A lot has changed since Rock's last standup, 2008's Kill The Messenger. We had our first black president, Barack Obama, and our first orange president, Donald Trump. Police brutality became a major talking point. While Rock delves into all of this in the 64-minute special, it's his jokes about love that stand out.

After 18 years of marriage, Rock and Malaak Compton-Rock finalized their divorce in 2016. Rock admitted that this was partially due to his porn addiction and his infidelity.

On porn, Rock detailed how it made him "sexually autistic" and "desensitized."

"When you start watching porn, any porn’ll do. 'Ah, they’re naked. Woo-hoo.' Then, later on, you’re all fucked up. And you need a perfect porn cocktail to get you off. I was so fucked up, I needed an Asian girl with a black girl’s ass that speaks Spanish just to get my dick to move an inch. I’m a lot better now," he said.

But he did have some advice for the couples listening. "You don’t want to get divorced," he says. "You got somebody you love, hold tight. Commit."

And now that Rock is back in the single circuit, he's being humbled by none other than Rihanna.

"You ever forget how old you are?" he asks the crowd. "Rihanna looked at me like I was one of her aunts. She didn’t even register me as a dick--carrying member of society. Like, I would have had an easier time fucking Aretha Franklin."

Sometimes, you just have to stay in your lane.
