Caitlyn Jenner is a grandmother. The 68-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to break her silence on daughter Kylie Jenner’s new baby girl. Kylie gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott on Feb. 1.
Caitlyn posted a photo of Kylie as a baby, with food all over her mouth, along with the caption, “My daughter just had a daughter. It’s amazing to be by your side through this journey. She’s SO beautiful already. Can’t wait to watch her grow. Throwback to my baby, as a baby @kyliejenner.”
Kylie replied to the comment, saying, “I love you.”
Like Kylie and the rest of the family, Caitlyn was secretive about her daughter's pregnancy. Kylie didn’t confirm she was pregnant until Sunday—after the birth—when she wrote a special message for her fans on Instagram, and shared a YouTube montage titled “To Our Daughter.”
“Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it,” Kylie wrote on Instagram. “I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could.”
The Kardashian-Jenner clan is rapidly growing: Kim and Kanye welcomed their daughter Chicago in January, and Khloé is due very soon.
