Ellen is a good friend of the Kardashian-Wests, so during a new episode of Ellen, she used that connection to troll her audience by announcing that she had the exclusive first look at Kim and Kanye’s new baby Chicago. Of course, that’s far from true. The couple is notoriously secretive when it comes to introducing their children to the world.
That fact didn’t stop Ellen from having a laugh at her audience’s expense. “Nobody has seen a photo of Chicago West, but I happen to be friends with Kim and Kanye, and they said that I could show you an exclusive photo of Chicago,” Ellen told her audience. A suited man with a silver briefcase handcuffed to his wrist came out on stage, underlining just how valuable the exclusive image was.
Ellen then pulled out a gold picture frame from the suitcase and turned it around to reveal a photo of Chicago—the city, not the baby. After remaining silent throughout this tedious routine, the audience burst into laughter upon seeing the cityscape. “Alright there it is, Chicago. And I believe that is West,” Ellen said, pointing to the left side of the photo. “So that is Chicago West, and that is just beautiful.”
Chicago’s name was revealed last week, and rumor has it Kimye is turning down upward of $5 million offers to photograph their new daughter. If Ellen were the only person with access to Chicago's photos, it wouldn’t be far-fetched that they would arrive in a locked silver briefcase. It’s unclear when Kim and Kanye plan on unveiling Chicago to the world, but it took them over two months to post the first photo of Saint, so we might be waiting a while.
